I designed and constructed a large home in Paauilo, Hawaii. It was weird to have a list of hundreds of things to do, each thing taking several days. And I learned hundreds of specific skills, like architectural design, landscape design, masonry, metalwork, rough and finish carpentry, electrical wiring, plumbing, glazing, painting...
